WINTIPAK Details Hong Kong Arbitration Award in Dispute With Greatview Holdings

SHERIDAN, WYOMING -- July 07, 2026 -- WINTIPAK AG has issued a public notice outlining the status of ongoing legal proceedings between itself and Greatview Holdings Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hong Kong-listed Greatview Aseptic Packaging Company Limited (GAPCL). The notice responds to a series of prior announcements from GAPCL and Shandong NewJF Technology Packaging Co., Ltd. describing court actions and arbitration filings against WINTIPAK and related parties. WINTIPAK's statement adds detail the company says was missing from those earlier disclosures, including an emergency arbitration award it obtained against Greatview Holdings before the other proceedings were filed. A Hong Kong High Court hearing on the matter is scheduled for May 19, 2026.

GAPCL and NewJF Disclosed Multiple Actions Since January

GAPCL issued a quarterly trading-status update on February 12, 2026, disclosing two High Court of Hong Kong actions against parties related to WINTIPAK, along with an arbitration filed with the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) by Greatview Aseptic Packaging (Shandong) Co., Ltd. NewJF, a separate Shenzhen-listed packaging company, issued its own notice on January 23, 2026, referencing the same HKIAC arbitration and one set of legal proceedings. On March 19, 2026, GAPCL and NewJF jointly announced three additional arbitrations filed against WINTIPAK and one of its subsidiaries with the Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission.

Corporate Structure Links the Parties Through Greatview Shandong

Greatview Shandong, the entity that filed the HKIAC arbitration, operates as an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of GAPCL and is itself fully owned by Greatview Holdings. That ownership chain places Greatview Holdings at the center of WINTIPAK's countervailing claim. WINTIPAK's notice states that none of the prior announcements from GAPCL or NewJF mentioned that WINTIPAK had already brought its own proceedings against Greatview Holdings before the HKIAC arbitration was filed.

WINTIPAK Points to an Earlier Emergency Award

According to the notice, WINTIPAK filed an application with the Hong Kong High Court in December 2025 to enforce an Emergency Arbitration Award issued against Greatview Holdings on November 21, 2025, and later corrected on December 16, 2025. The award was made under HKIAC auspices. WINTIPAK says the court granted the enforcement order it sought.

Award Terms Center on a Framework Agreement

The Emergency Award orders Greatview Holdings, and requires it to procure compliance from its affiliates, with a Framework Agreement between Wintipak AG and Greatview Holdings Ltd. Specific restrictions cited in the notice include a bar on contacting WINTIPAK's customers for service or business and a bar on inviting those customers to place orders with Greatview Holdings or its affiliates for work covered by the Framework Agreement. The notice frames these terms as directly limiting how Greatview Holdings and its affiliates can approach WINTIPAK's existing customer base while the dispute continues.

Set-Aside Application Sets Up a May Court Hearing

Greatview Holdings has applied to the Hong Kong High Court to set aside the enforcement order WINTIPAK obtained in December 2025. A one-day hearing on that application has been scheduled for May 19, 2026, before the same court. The notice does not indicate any resolution of the underlying arbitrations or court actions disclosed separately by GAPCL and NewJF.

WINTIPAK CEO Signs the Notice Directly

WINTIPAK Chief Executive Officer Markku Vauhkonen issued the notice under his own name rather than through a separate communications channel. The direct sign-off aligns with the notice's stated purpose: informing interested parties, including customers and business partners, of proceedings WINTIPAK says were only partially disclosed in earlier announcements from GAPCL and NewJF.
