Los Angeles – September 17, 2026 -- Vance Street Capital has appointed Katherine Dowley as Head of Investor Relations, expanding its institutional capabilities following the $775 million close of Vance Street Capital IV in 2024.
Firm brings total capital raised past $2 billion after latest fund close
The Los Angeles-based private equity firm, which invests in founder-owned and family businesses as well as corporate carve-outs across industrial, medical and life science, and aerospace and defense markets, closed its fourth fund at its hard cap of $775 million in 2024. That closing pushed total capital raised by Vance Street to more than $2 billion.
Dowley to lead capital formation and limited partner relationship management
In her new role, Dowley will oversee investor relations activities including capital formation, investor communications, and relationship management with current and prospective limited partners. She will work directly with Vance Street's leadership and investment teams to deepen investor engagement as the firm pursues further institutional growth.
New IR head arrives with background at W Capital Partners, L Catterton, Lindsay Goldberg
Dowley joins Vance Street from W Capital Partners and previously held roles at L Catterton and Lindsay Goldberg. She holds a B.A. from the University of Chicago. Brian Martin, Managing Partner at Vance Street, said her relationship-oriented approach was essential to strengthening the firm's partnerships with investors.
