Penetron Admixture Specified for All Concrete at Florida Condo Project

Orlando – October 29, 2026 -- PENETRON ADMIX SB, a crystalline waterproofing admixture supplied in soluble bags, was specified for all concrete elements at Sage Longboat Key, a 16-residence beachfront condominium project in Sarasota, Florida, where below-grade structures face high groundwater, chloride ions and Gulf of Mexico exposure.

Ready-mix supplier Moss recommended the admixture for every concrete element

Moss, the project's ready-mix concrete supplier, recommended PENETRON ADMIX SB as the waterproofing solution. The admixture was introduced into the concrete mix during batching.

Pool and elevator pits face groundwater and chloride exposure on Longboat Key

Longboat Key is a barrier island between Sarasota Bay to the east and the Gulf of Mexico to the west. The balconies, pool, amenity deck and elevator pits are all exposed to this marine environment.

Penetron Waterproofs Florida Senior Housing Against Saltwater Intrusion

Orlando – – October 21, 2026 -- The Penetron System was specified in June 2026 to protect the below-grade concrete at Provident Place, a 100-unit affordable senior housing community in Pompano Beach, Florida, where rising groundwater salinity threatens foundations.

Crystalline admixture and swellable waterstop cover slab, walls and elevator pits

Supermix, the ready-mix concrete supplier, provided the waterproofing solution for the foundation slab, retaining walls and elevator pits. The specification combines PENETRON ADMIX SB, a crystalline waterproofing admixture, with PENEBAR, a swellable waterstop for concrete joints.

Once added to the mix, the active ingredients in PENETRON ADMIX form a non-soluble crystalline structure through the pores and capillary tracts of the concrete. According to the company, this seals microcracks, pores and capillaries against water penetration from any direction.

Jeddah – October 14, 2026 -- The rooftop pool at the Hilton Garden Inn in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, passed post-commissioning testing with walls on the floor below found almost entirely dry and no leakage detected beneath the slab, according to The Penetron Group. PENETRON ADMIX performed as a standalone waterproofing system, with no membrane required.

Penetron Middle East specified three integrated systems for the pool structure

The brief called for protecting the below-grade concrete structures and delivering a pool that stays watertight for the life of the building without a surface membrane, said Sam Annous, Director and Partner of Penetron Middle East. The team specified an integral approach combining three product groups:

Orlando – October 10, 2026 -- Civil engineers on Slovakia's 14.9-km D1 Hubová–Ivachnová motorway section specified the Penetron System of crystalline concrete waterproofing for exposed bridge curbs, targeting damage from water, freeze-thaw cycles and de-icing salts, according to Penetron Group.

D1 section adds a northern bypass of Ružomberok across mountainous terrain

The section forms part of Slovakia's principal east–west motorway corridor. It creates a northern bypass of Ružomberok, a center of the country's paper industry and a tourist destination, diverting transit traffic from the urban area.

The project comprises 19 bridge structures, three interchanges and the roughly 3.6-km twin-tube Čebrať Tunnel. The route crosses complex geology and faces severe seasonal exposure, which raises the requirements for concrete durability, waterproofing and corrosion protection.

Trebinje – – September 22, 2026 -- The newly completed Trebinje Hospital in Bosnia and Herzegovina represents a $75.4 million (€65 million / ≈128 million BAM) investment by the Government of Republika Srpska, marking the largest healthcare infrastructure project in eastern Herzegovina's recent history.

Facility spans 17,500 m2 with 223 beds and six operating rooms

Located in the Pridvorci neighborhood of Trebinje, a city of roughly 32,000 residents, the hospital was completed at the end of 2025. The 17,500 m2 facility includes advanced diagnostic equipment such as MRI and CT scanners, along with fully equipped emergency and intensive care units.

Guanajuato – – September 20, 2026 -- The Penetron Group repaired and waterproofed a severely deteriorated below-grade concrete water cistern at Torre Valaria, a 20-floor, 230-foot (70-meter) residential tower that became Guanajuato's tallest building and welcomed its first residents in October 2025.

General contractor ICREAR flagged structural damage and active leaks in the drinking-water cistern

PENETRON México was contacted by ICREAR after inspectors found significant leaks, structural damage and water loss in the cistern designated to store drinking water for the tower's 125 apartment units. Rodrigo Monterrubio Solis, Country Manager of PENETRON México, said the team had to move quickly because construction was nearing completion.

Gąski – September 16, 2026 -- The Goose Bay residential development in Gąski, Poland, completed in September 2026, has integrated PENETRON ADMIX crystalline waterproofing technology into its below-grade concrete structures to counter chloride penetration from its Baltic Sea location just 40 meters from the shoreline.

Goose Bay comprises 58 apartments with six penthouses and a rooftop pool

The development offers units ranging from 28 to 70 square meters. Its proximity to the sea made water ingress and chloride penetration a critical design concern for the project team.
