Nashville – October 27, 2026 -- TransCore, a tolling technology and traffic-management supplier, has appointed Deborah Sharpless as its first Chief Experience Officer (CXO), a newly created executive role aimed at tightening ties with tolling and transportation agencies.

Former Maryland Transportation Authority CFO brings 25 years of public sector experience

Sharpless has more than 25 years of experience in finance, operations and customer service. Most recently she was Chief Financial Officer of the Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA), a role she took after serving as Deputy Executive Director.

She also chaired the E-ZPass Interagency Group Executive Board and served as a Director on the International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association (IBTTA) Board.

Snowflake Cuts Forecast Time From a Week to Hours With CoCo Profile

Snowflake Cuts Forecast Time From a Week to Hours With CoCo Profile

Global – October 27, 2026 -- Snowflake's sales finance team has cut its monthly forecast and variance analysis from more than a week to a few hours. It did so by giving its CoCo AI standing context about company data, terminology and workflows.

Profile cuts steps per answer from 3.0 to 1.3

Across 44 finance users, those with a 'GTM Finance' profile reached an answer in about 1.3 steps, against about 3 steps for those without one (Snowflake internal CoCo usage, February to May 2026). Without the profile, the AI spent roughly three steps per session finding the right data source and resolving terminology.

Each extra step adds about 0.05 credits, roughly 10 cents at US$2 per credit. A five-step session therefore costs about three and a half times a one-step session. At every step count in the data, sessions with the profile cost less than those without.

Snowflake Cuts Incident Fix Time to 16 Minutes With CoCo Agent

Snowflake Cuts Incident Fix Time to 16 Minutes With CoCo Agent

North America – October 27, 2026 -- Snowflake's product data science team cut the time from pipeline incident to a tested, reviewable fix to under 16 minutes using its CoCo agentic AI assistant. Before CoCo, diagnosis took a skilled engineer about 30 minutes per case. The result comes from a four-part framework that Snowflake built to measure AI value beyond license counts and prompt volumes.

Snowflake sorts AI work into three levels instead of counting prompts

Dashboards built on access and activity score an organization running 1,000 explanations the same as one running 1,000 pipeline builds and anomaly investigations. Snowflake's framework separates foundational work (explaining code, answering questions), applied development (writing code, exploring data, building reports) and agentic work (multistep processes where AI uses tools to finish an outcome). Real capacity gains should appear in the agentic tier.

Brilliant Earth Moves Analytics Into Snowflake, Retires Legacy BI

United States – – October 27, 2026 -- Brilliant Earth has moved more than 100 showroom operations users off a legacy BI platform and onto Posit dashboards running natively inside Snowflake, cutting software license costs while widening self-serve access to governed data.

The luxury jewelry retailer already reprices its diamond inventory daily through an automated model running in Snowflake. That capability prompted the company to adopt the platform. Weekly data science reports captured only moments in time, so Brilliant Earth set out to give decision-makers direct access to the same data and models.

Posit Team runs as a Snowflake Native App on Snowpark Container Services

Brilliant Earth installed Posit Team inside Snowflake instead of maintaining a separate server with its own security protocols. Snowflake roles, user permissions and table access now govern Posit as well.

KMS Lighthouse Tops 15-Tool Ranking of AI Sales Knowledge Systems

Global – October 23, 2026 -- KMS Lighthouse leads a 15-vendor ranking of AI-powered sales knowledge management systems (KMS), rated the best all-in-one option for sales teams losing deals to knowledge gaps.

Six recurring problems are slowing sales teams

The ranking cites six common failures: institutional knowledge that is never captured, data silos between departments, call volumes managers cannot track or grade, reps distracted by information searches, documentation-heavy bureaucracy, and slow onboarding that requires extended oversight of new hires.

An effective sales KMS must analyze calls in progress, surface Battle Cards and decision trees, and automate call summaries. It also needs read-and-write integration with existing CRM and cloud systems, built-in training, and management tools for review and feedback.

AI Leads Transformation Budgets, but ROI Uneven, Survey of 300 Finds

United States – October 22, 2026 -- AI has become the central pillar of enterprise transformation strategy and draws the largest share of executive attention and budget, yet its measurable impact remains uneven, according to a 2026 ROI report surveying 300 U.S.-based C-suite and digital transformation leaders.

Boards demand proof of returns, not deployment milestones

Boards and executive teams no longer accept deployment milestones or activity metrics as evidence of success. They expect transformation investments to deliver faster value, higher productivity and sustained returns. The survey found a consistent gap between ambition and outcomes, most visibly in AI-driven initiatives.

Security and customer experience rank behind AI in investment priorities. The open challenge is operationalizing AI at scale, where adoption and user proficiency determine whether projects deliver value or stall in pilot mode.

Create supports drafting and refining releases, then converts them into campaign content such as snapshot videos and blog posts.

Distribution runs through Multichannel Amplification across digital, print and social

The Distribute module uses PR Newswire's Multichannel AmplificationTM approach. It spans digital, print, social and direct-to-journalist platforms. The solutions target earned, owned, paid and shared channels.

Global – October 21, 2026 -- KMS Lighthouse leads a 2026 ranking of eight web-based knowledge management systems (KMS), ahead of ProProfs, KnowMax, Zendesk, Confluence, Heroic, Document360 and Helpjuice. The buyer's guide names security and data-handling compliance as the decisive selection criteria.

Cloud hosting opens KMS access to remote and field workers

A web-based KMS runs on cloud servers and is reachable from any internet connection, with no VPN tunnel into on-site servers. Management features must also sit in the cloud so managers can administer the system from anywhere. Core functions match those of an on-site KMS.

MedTech Revenue Hits $325B in H1 2026 as M&A Jumps 160%, EY Says

New York – October 19, 2026 -- Global MedTech M&A value rose 160% in the first half of 2026 versus the same period of 2025, with total disclosed deal value reaching roughly US$130 billion, the highest level in more than a decade, according to the 20th edition of EY US's Pulse of the MedTech Industry report.

The recovery is narrow. EY found it was driven by a limited number of blockbuster transactions rather than broad-based dealmaking.

Industry revenue reached $325 billion in the first half of 2026, up 7.1%

MedTech generated approximately US$650 billion in revenue in 2025, growth of 11%. First-half 2026 revenue of US$325 billion was 7.1% above the prior-year period. Therapeutic devices led growth, followed by non-imaging diagnostics, imaging, and lab equipment and tools.

Only 19% of Staff Feel Confident Using AI, Achievers Report Finds

Toronto – October 17, 2026 -- Only 19% of employees worldwide feel confident using AI tools, according to the 2026 State of Recognition Report from the Achievers Workforce Institute, which argues that timely, specific recognition is missing infrastructure in AI transformation programs.

Employee readiness trails AI deployment on every measured dimension

New AI tools can arrive in weeks, while confidence, clarity and working norms take far longer to develop. The report puts numbers on that gap: 18% of employees have access to AI-enabled training, and 18% feel supported in adapting to AI and technology changes. Only 18% feel informed when changes affect their jobs, and 23% say communication is clear during uncertainty.
