CXO will run Voice-of-Customer programs and steer AI tolling deployment
In the new role, Sharpless will lead company-wide initiatives to strengthen relationships with public sector agencies and improve service delivery. She will guide TransCore's Voice-of-Customer programs and convert agency feedback into measurable changes across products, services, support and operations.
She will also use customer insights and agency collaboration to set priorities for the deployment and adoption of TransCore's AI-powered tolling technologies. These include the Infinity Digital Lane System, SmartPass, Integrity and the company's suite of intelligent transportation systems (ITS).
CEO Whitt Hall cites need for dedicated executive focus on service delivery
Whitt Hall, President and CEO of TransCore, said the company created the position because it expanded its technology portfolio and long-term agency partnerships, and the CXO role ensures customer insight is embedded in how solutions are delivered, supported and adopted over time.
Sharpless said that in her public transportation career, success depended less on technology itself than on how well it is implemented, supported and aligned with agency priorities.
