Gartner scored Redwood highest among evaluated vendors for Completeness of Vision, the third straight year the company has held that spot. Redwood credited the placement to its 2026 additions, including native support for MCP and Agent2Agent protocols, the new Redwood RangerAI assistant portfolio and Redwood Insights Premium.
MCP Server Opens 50-Plus Tools Across Nine AWS Regions
The MCP server, validated with Microsoft Copilot, SAP's Joule and Claude Code, gives AI models governed and auditable access to more than 50 production-ready tools spanning nine AWS regions worldwide. The accompanying native AWS integration covers S3, EventBridge and AWS Glue, extending RunMyJobs orchestration across a company's full hybrid IT stack.

Three New AI Tools Stay In Technical Preview
Operations Agent, Workflow Builder and Agent Studio push RunMyJobs toward autonomous, agent-driven operations, but Redwood lists all three as technical previews rather than general-availability features. Workflow Builder generates workflows from plain-English descriptions or existing documentation. Operations Agent flags disruptions and SLA risks in real time and surfaces context for staff to act on. Agent Studio embeds large language model reasoning as a native job type inside existing workflows.
Redwood's MCP server and AWS integration ship generally available today. Its three newest AI features do not.
Crouchman Ties Leadership Rank To Agent-System Access
Charles Crouchman, Redwood's chief product officer, said AI agents can analyze a problem but cannot resolve it without a direct connection to the systems that run business operations. He said Redwood's Leader ranking and the launch of its MCP server and AWS integration reflect a market shift toward governed, agent-driven orchestration built inside a company's existing trust model.
