Shenzhen – October 13, 2026 -- Pudu Robotics' PUDU BG1 Series, which drew pre-orders above RMB 100 million within its first month on the market, has won two ISSA awards in South Korea and Australia.
The series took the Robotics Award category of the ISSA ASIA AWARDS 2026 at ISSA SHOW ASIA in South Korea. It also won the People's Choice Award at the 2026 ISSA Excellence Awards during the ISSA Cleaning & Hygiene Expo in Australia.
BG1 Series reached the market in March 2026 as an AI-native large-scale cleaner
Pudu launched the BG1 Series in March 2026. The robots are designed to move beyond fixed routes and predefined cleaning routines toward adaptive, context-aware operation.
The AI-driven functions identify different types of dirt and floor conditions, target detected messes and adjust cleaning parameters automatically. Target environments include retail complexes, warehouses and industrial facilities.
The integrated cleaning system handles dry debris and wet dirt in a single workflow. An extendable scrubbing brush improves edge coverage and reduces the need for manual follow-up.
Pudu wins Australia's People's Choice Award for a second consecutive year
In 2025, the PUDU MT1 won both the People's Choice Award and the Equipment category award at the Australian ISSA Excellence Awards. The BG1 Series' 2026 People's Choice win means Pudu has secured the award in consecutive years with two different cleaning robot products.
