Minneapolis – September 21, 2026 -- Proterra Investment Partners has hired Jennie Park as Head of Capital Formation and appointed Matt Coad as Head of Investor Solutions, expanding leadership as the food value chain-focused alternative asset manager grows its institutional investor base.
Park joins from H.I.G. Capital, a $75 billion global alternative investment firm
At H.I.G. Capital, Park served as a Principal responsible for capital raising and investor relations across the firm's credit strategies in North America. She previously held Managing Director roles at Briarcliffe Credit Partners focused on private credit fundraising, and led North American business development and investor relations at Vantage Infrastructure. Earlier stops include Apollo Global Management, Anchorage Capital, and leveraged finance at Goldman Sachs, where she began her career.
Coad expands mandate to lead investor relations, client service and marketing
In his new role as Head of Investor Solutions, Coad will oversee investor relations, client service, marketing and communications, while remaining active in fundraising. Rich Gammill, Managing Partner of Proterra Investment Partners, said Coad has played a key role in building relationships with investors and strategic partners as the firm's platform has grown.
Proterra operates six investment verticals from four global offices
Proterra invests across the food value chain "from farm to fork" through six core verticals: Credit, Farmland, Growth Equity, Proterra Asia, Sustainable Agriculture, and Real Estate. The firm employs 75 professionals across offices in Minneapolis, Fayetteville, Shanghai and Singapore.
Gammill said Park's track record in private markets fundraising will strengthen the firm's ability to develop new investor relationships and deepen existing partnerships as its investment platform continues to expand.
