OrthoAtlanta Adds Pain Specialist as Henry County Expands

McDonough, Ga. – September 22, 2026 -- Piedmont Orthopedics | OrthoAtlanta has added board-certified interventional pain specialist Vic Manocha, M.D., to its Henry County team, deploying him across both its McDonough office and its newly opened Locust Grove location.

New physician strengthens nonsurgical pain treatment capacity

Dr. Manocha treats acute and chronic back pain, neck pain, joint pain and musculoskeletal conditions using interventional techniques including spinal cord stimulation, peripheral nerve stimulation and minimally invasive spine procedures. He also maintains a focus on regenerative medicine and orthobiologic therapies for chronic spine and joint pain, and is the founder of RegenCures, a practice dedicated to orthobiologic treatments.

Locust Grove opening signals broader Henry County footprint

The hire coincides with the practice's expansion into Locust Grove, a move intended to give patients in that community and surrounding areas closer access to specialized orthopedic and pain care. "His addition strengthens our ability to provide comprehensive orthopedic and musculoskeletal care to patients throughout Henry County," said Michael Ochal, CEO of Piedmont Orthopedics | OrthoAtlanta.

Credentials span major U.S. training institutions

Dr. Manocha earned his medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine and graduated magna cum laude in biology from Wright State University. He completed a General Surgery internship at Western Reserve Care System/Northside Hospital, a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at Case Western Reserve University, and a Pain Management fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle. He is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and is affiliated with Piedmont Henry Hospital.
