Strava fundraising challenge blows past initial $1 million target within 24 hours
Hyundai partnered with Strava to launch the Miles for the Warriors Challenge on Sept. 2, initially pledging $1 million to Hope on Wheels if participants collectively logged 400,000 miles — a distance meant to mirror the 400,000 children diagnosed with cancer globally each year. That goal was hit within 24 hours, prompting Hyundai to double the target to 800,000 miles and $2 million, which the community surpassed two days later. As of the campaign update, roughly 100,000 participants have logged over 3.3 million miles. A parallel social media mechanic will add up to $500,000 more, with Hyundai donating $36 per qualifying post using #hyundaiwarriors through Dec. 31, 2026.

Dealer network of 855-plus locations anchors community activations
Hyundai's more than 855 U.S. dealers will run in-store activations, blood drives and Warrior Badge distributions to raise visibility for the cause. The broader rollout includes approximately 42 handprint ceremonies and check presentations plus more than 100 community blood drives nationwide.
