Harmonic Launches cOS SensAI, Targets $2.2B Broadband AI Market

San Jose, California – September 11, 2026 -- Harmonic (NASDAQ: HLIT) has launched cOS SensAI, a vendor-agnostic, software-driven intelligence fabric designed to unify fragmented network data for broadband operators, with Analysys Mason sizing the addressable market at approximately $2.2 billion annually across second-tier and smaller operators.

Harmonic unveils AI fabric to cut broadband operational complexity

cOS SensAI consolidates heterogeneous data from network equipment, tools, applications and customer-premises devices into a single, continuously updated operational model. The platform correlates signals across systems, explains the reasoning behind each diagnostic, and automates repetitive operator processes. CEO Nimrod Ben-Natan said the tool lets operators move from reactive dashboard-switching to proactive, intelligence-driven operations regardless of company size.

Hotwire Communications and GCI report early operational gains

Hotwire Communications CTO Pragash Pillai said correlating operational data previously required manually extracting information from roughly a dozen separate systems spanning the network, tools, applications and customer devices—a process he described as time-consuming. He said SensAI's traceable diagnostics have accelerated issue resolution for the company's NOC and engineering teams while integrating with existing systems.

Alaska-based operator GCI, which serves remote and hard-to-reach communities, said the platform is engineered to tell technicians not just where a problem lies but how to fix it. GCI CTO Troy Goldie said the company expects SensAI to reduce repeat-ticket rates, a key indicator of network health, and to improve operational efficiency across its service territory.

Analysys Mason sizes the market opportunity at $2.2 billion annually

Analysys Mason principal analyst Joseph Attwood said broadband providers need a foundational platform to fully leverage AI for network reliability and subscriber experience gains. He said SensAI's unified intelligence fabric allows operators to replace disparate tools and gain end-to-end visibility by correlating data signals across devices and systems, drawing on data from thousands of sources.

Harmonic targets reduced site visits and lower operating costs

Harmonic said the platform aims to simplify triage, close skills gaps, and shift technician time from emergency response toward network improvement. The company also positions SensAI to reduce avoidable site visits and cut costs through subscriber-level insights, while supporting higher Net Promoter Scores and long-term customer retention.

Harmonic will showcase SensAI at Connected Britain on September 9-10 at booth J25, and at SCTE TechExpo in Atlanta from September 29 to October 1 at booth A153.
