Fuze Finance Enters Switzerland, Adds Crypto Rails to SWIFT, SEPA, SIC

Lugano – – September 11, 2026 -- Fuze Finance has secured approval from the Supervisory Organisation for Financial Intermediaries and Trustees (SO-FIT) to operate as a supervised financial intermediary in Switzerland, marking the regulated crypto-assets infrastructure provider's first move into Western Europe. The approval, granted under the Anti-Money Laundering Act, allows Fuze to offer institutional clients crypto-asset infrastructure and stablecoin settlement alongside SWIFT, SEPA and SIC payment rails.

Four in five Swiss banks still lack a regulated crypto offering

Citing IMF data referencing FINMA, Fuze notes that roughly 80% of Swiss banks have yet to establish a regulated crypto-assets service, pointing to a supply gap in one of the world's largest private banking markets. The Swiss entry adds to Fuze's existing regulatory licenses in the Middle East, Turkey and Canada.

Fuze targets private banks with a fully disclosed brokerage model

For Swiss private banks and wealth managers, Fuze will deliver a fully disclosed crypto-asset services model through Swiss-regulated partner banks and fintechs, rather than a standalone retail product. The offering covers institutional crypto brokerage, agency-basis OTC execution and embedded crypto-asset brokerage, a structure detailed in a joint paper with blockchain security firm Halborn.

Fuze CEO Mo Ali Yusuf said Swiss banks and fintechs are seeking regulated infrastructure built for the future of finance rather than a crypto product added onto legacy systems. Gianluca Masini, Country Manager of Fuze Finance Switzerland, said the company is building an on-ground team under SO-FIT with local decision-making authority to meet the high service standards Swiss partners expect.

Fuze is not FINMA-licensed and serves institutional clients only

Fuze Finance Switzerland operates as a financial intermediary affiliated with SO-FIT; it is not a bank and is not licensed or directly supervised by FINMA. Its services are restricted to institutional and professional clients on a B2B basis, with no retail offering, and the company states its corporate information does not constitute an offer in jurisdictions including the EU/EEA where such solicitation would be unlawful.
