Orlando – – October 21, 2026 -- The Penetron System was specified in June 2026 to protect the below-grade concrete at Provident Place, a 100-unit affordable senior housing community in Pompano Beach, Florida, where rising groundwater salinity threatens foundations.

Crystalline admixture and swellable waterstop cover slab, walls and elevator pits

Supermix, the ready-mix concrete supplier, provided the waterproofing solution for the foundation slab, retaining walls and elevator pits. The specification combines PENETRON ADMIX SB, a crystalline waterproofing admixture, with PENEBAR, a swellable waterstop for concrete joints.

Once added to the mix, the active ingredients in PENETRON ADMIX form a non-soluble crystalline structure through the pores and capillary tracts of the concrete. According to the company, this seals microcracks, pores and capillaries against water penetration from any direction.

Jeddah – October 14, 2026 -- The rooftop pool at the Hilton Garden Inn in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, passed post-commissioning testing with walls on the floor below found almost entirely dry and no leakage detected beneath the slab, according to The Penetron Group. Gąski – September 16, 2026 -- The Goose Bay residential development in Gąski, Poland, completed in September 2026, has integrated PENETRON ADMIX crystalline waterproofing technology into its below-grade concrete structures to counter chloride penetration from its Baltic Sea location just 40 meters from the shoreline.

Goose Bay comprises 58 apartments with six penthouses and a rooftop pool

The development offers units ranging from 28 to 70 square meters. Its proximity to the sea made water ingress and chloride penetration a critical design concern for the project team.
