Midea Expands US Research Center Footprint 400% in Louisville

Louisville, Ky. – September 30, 2026 -- Midea America Corp. has opened an expanded Midea America Research Center (MARC) in Louisville, Kentucky, growing the facility's footprint by approximately 400% to 157,000 square feet and adding 22 new laboratories.
Facility adds 127,000 square feet and 22 laboratories to support appliance development
The expansion includes 127,000 square feet of additional space, a product showroom, an auditorium and dedicated collaboration areas. The center brings consumer research, engineering, product development and testing under one roof, supporting Midea's U.S. product lines across refrigeration, dishwashers, cooking, laundry, air treatment, floor care and small appliances.
