CLEAR Brings CLEAR1 Caller Verification to Amazon Connect

New York – October 11, 2026 -- CLEAR (NYSE: YOU) has integrated its CLEAR1 secure identity platform with Amazon Web Services' Amazon Connect, allowing contact centers to verify a caller's identity before or during a support interaction.

The integration targets fraud, impersonation and high-friction verification, which the company identifies as weak points in contact center support. Organizations can place identity checks earlier in the support journey, before the customer speaks with an agent.

Callers verify via SMS link before reaching an agent

When a customer calls a support center powered by Amazon Connect, they can choose to verify through CLEAR. Customers who opt in receive a secure SMS link and complete verification on their phone. The call is then routed to an agent, who sees the verification result in real time.

CLEAR says the workflow is designed to speed up high-risk requests such as password resets and account updates. It also aims to cut time agents spend on manual verification steps.

AWS says callers can be verified in seconds

Amy Belcher, Director, Global ISV Partners at AWS, said organizations can verify callers in seconds and eliminate repetitive security questions, leaving agents to focus on solving customer problems.

Brett Romanoff, EVP of CLEAR1, said the partnership brings the platform to contact centers at scale, strengthening fraud protection while creating a smoother experience for agents and customers.

Performance claims remain unproven

CLEAR's forward-looking statements caution that the benefits depend on customer adoption, successful implementation and performance of the integration, and changing market conditions. The company did not disclose pricing, availability dates, customer names or fraud-reduction metrics.
