Dallas – September 20, 2026 -- AT&T and the Dallas Cowboys have extended their partnership to overhaul network infrastructure and fan technology at AT&T Stadium ahead of the 2026 season, anchored by more than 261 miles of fiber and nearly 1,000 antennas across the venue.
AT&T builds the largest stadium fiber network in the country to handle 100,000-plus attendees
The company says the AT&T Stadium buildout represents the largest network of its kind in the U.S., supporting mobile ticketing, stadium operations and real-time video sharing when crowds exceed 100,000. AT&T Chairman and CEO John Stankey said the company is using "America's largest fiber network" to connect the venue, citing the firm's fiber-to-the-home household data as the basis for that ranking.
New AI and mixed-reality features launch for the 2026 season
AT&T Stadium Wayfinding will offer no-download, real-time navigation through the Cowboys app and stadium kiosks, guiding fans from parking lots to seats. Reception Connection places fans in a mixed-reality catch-and-compete scenario with quarterback Dak Prescott, while Connected Cam streams fan-submitted live video directly to the main videoboard. A new AI tool, the Starbase Connection Feature, converts fan photos into custom Cowboys hype videos displayed on stadium boards.
AT&T Turbo Live extends priority network access to rival carriers' customers
The service gives every attendee at AT&T Stadium — including customers of competing carriers — reserved, high-priority network access for posting, streaming and sharing throughout games, addressing the connectivity strain typical of large-capacity venues.
Naming rights and 30-year relationship continue under the new agreement
The deal keeps the AT&T name on the stadium and extends a relationship the two organizations describe as spanning three decades. Dallas Cowboys Owner, President and General Manager Jerry Jones called AT&T the team's most critical partner, saying the company provides "the foundation of technology and connectivity that drives everything we do operationally."
