Rio Silver Wins OTCQB Approval, Grants 850,000 Options at C$0.35

Vancouver – October 12, 2026 -- Rio Silver Inc. (TSX.V: RYO) has received approval to trade on the OTCQB Venture Market under the symbol "RYOOF", and has granted 850,000 incentive stock options to consultants.

OTCQB listing opens U.S. retail and institutional access to Rio Silver shares

The OTCQB is a U.S. trading platform operated by OTC Markets Group Inc. for developing and entrepreneurial-stage companies. The Securities and Exchange Commission recognizes it as an "established public market" for determining the public market price when registering securities for resale.

Rio Silver says the listing gives U.S. retail and institutional investors improved access to its shares. The company frames the move as coming at a point when global silver production is decreasing and interest in pure-play silver producers is accelerating, particularly where the majority of the co-product is gold. The company provided no market data to support either claim.

Buffalo – October 12, 2026 -- National Grid has completed a $32 million modernization of its 110-year-old Perry Street substation in Buffalo, adding 13,200-volt delivery to a site that previously supplied only 4,160 volts. The project is the first of about a dozen substations the utility plans to modernize or rebuild in the coming years.

Perry Street station adds 13,200-volt delivery for Larkinville and First Ward loads

The upgraded facility went online this past summer. It now serves some large loads in the Larkinville and First Ward areas of the city. The original substation was built in 1916, before large electricity loads were commonplace or anticipated.

National Grid Regional Director Ken Kujawa said the renovations responded directly to load growth in those districts, including projects that exceed 1 megawatt.

Tegoprazan Beats Placebo on Heartburn and Regurgitation in Phase 3 NERD Trial

Braintree, Mass. – October 12, 2026 -- Braintree Laboratories, part of Sebela Pharmaceuticals, reported that its investigational P-CAB tegoprazan delivered statistically significant gains over placebo in both heartburn and regurgitation in the 783-patient Phase 3 TRIUMpH-NERD study. The company describes it as the first P-CAB to show clinical improvement in both hallmark non-erosive reflux disease (NERD) symptoms in a prospective U.S. Phase 3 trial.

Both tegoprazan doses meet primary and key secondary endpoints

TRIUMpH-NERD (NCT05587322) was a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicenter study. Patients received tegoprazan 50 mg, tegoprazan 100 mg or placebo once daily for four weeks, followed by a 20-week extension. The primary endpoint was the percentage of 24-hour heartburn-free days through Week 4. Days without nighttime heartburn was a key secondary endpoint, and regurgitation was a prespecified exploratory endpoint.
