Wise Group Investors Face Sept. 29 Deadline in Securities Fraud Suit

Bensalem, Pa. – September 10, 2026 -- Investors who lost money on Wise Group plc (WSE) shares have until September 29, 2026 to seek lead plaintiff status in a securities fraud class action lawsuit, the Law Offices of Howard G. Smith announced.

Lawsuit alleges Wise understated anti-money laundering risks ahead of Nasdaq debut

The complaint covers the class period between May 11, 2026 and July 23, 2026. It alleges that Wise Group and its executives made materially false or misleading statements about the company's business, operations and prospects, and failed to disclose material adverse facts to investors.

Specifically, the suit claims that to secure a successful Nasdaq debut, defendants materially understated regulatory risks tied to deficient anti-money laundering controls and insufficient measures to prevent terrorism financing.

Investors claim damages once true details reached the market

The lawsuit alleges that when accurate information about these deficiencies became known, investors suffered financial damages as a result of the alleged misrepresentations.

Law firm seeks lead plaintiff before statutory deadline

Shareholders with substantial losses are being urged to contact the Law Offices of Howard G. Smith before the September 29, 2026 lead plaintiff deadline to participate in the ongoing litigation. Class members are not required to take action at this time and may choose to retain their own counsel or remain absent members of the class.
