Reston, Va. – September 11, 2026 -- V2X, Inc. (NYSE: VVX) has secured a $19 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the U.S. Marine Corps to supply its Tempest counter-Unmanned Aerial System (C-UAS) vehicles.
Contract covers vehicles, maintenance and training support
Under the agreement, V2X will deliver Tempest vehicles alongside maintenance support, software management, spares, ancillary components, training, and engineering services. The Tempest platform is designed to detect, track, and defeat unmanned aerial threats while maintaining mobility to reposition alongside maneuver forces.
Tempest built on commercially derived architecture for rapid deployment
V2X developed Tempest as a highly mobile C-UAS solution intended to operate in austere and contested environments. The vehicle's commercially derived architecture is built to support rapid deployment, sustainment, and adaptability against dynamic aerial threats.
Award expands V2X's counter-UAS portfolio
Jeremy C. Wensinger, President and CEO of V2X, said unmanned aerial systems are changing the battlefield and driving demand for mobile, effective counter-UAS solutions ready for demanding environments. He said the Tempest award reflects the company's ability to move a capability from concept and integration through fielding and sustainment.
The contract adds to V2X's counter-UAS work, following the company's engineering, technology integration, logistics, training, and mission expertise to accelerate capability delivery for the U.S. Marine Corps.
