USG Water Solutions Names Christina Coen as New CEO

Atlanta – September 18, 2026 -- USG Water Solutions has appointed Christina Coen as Chief Executive Officer, effective September 1, 2026, succeeding John Flaugher, who moves into a strategic advisory role.

Coen brings chemicals and agtech leadership to water infrastructure

Coen joins from UPL Corp, where she served as Chief Transformation Officer, R&D and Sustainability Lead, and previously as Chief Marketing Officer overseeing global P&L for a multi-billion-dollar portfolio. Her prior roles span senior leadership positions at Nalco Water (an Ecolab Company), FMC Corporation, and Dow Chemical, covering R&D, transformation, marketing, and commercial leadership in agricultural and specialty chemicals.

New CEO commits to 60-year safety and compliance track record

USG Water Solutions specializes in storage tanks, plant rehabilitation, metering, and distribution systems for water utilities. The company serves rural and suburban communities and small cities across the United States through more than 600 water utility maintenance professionals operating out of 11 service centers.

"I'm committed to building on our 60-year track record of safety, quality, and compliance, while continuing to invest in the people and technology that make that possible," Coen said.

Coen holds engineering and business degrees

Coen earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University and a Master of Business Administration from Northwood University.
