Washington – September 30, 2026 -- TrustEngine has named Brandon Durham as its first Vice President of Adoption and Partnerships, tasking the 20-year mortgage technology veteran with driving daily use of its MortgageCoach platform among loan officers.
Durham will manage integrations across ICE Encompass, Cotality SmartFees, Lodestar and Optimal Blue
The newly created role puts Durham in charge of TrustEngine's partnerships across the mortgage technology stack. These integrations pull pricing, fees, borrower data and loan details directly into MortgageCoach, aiming to reduce friction for loan officers during borrower conversations.
Durham previously managed a 15-platform technology ecosystem at Homeowners Financial Group
Durham spent 11 years at Homeowners Financial Group, rising from Production Support Manager to Director of Training and Business Technology. In that role he oversaw a technology ecosystem spanning loan origination, point-of-sale, CRM and productivity tools, supporting more than 300 employees and 125 sales professionals, while managing relationships with more than 15 technology vendors. He also held prior roles at Stonegate Mortgage Corporation, National Residential Mortgage and Caliber Funding.
TrustEngine CEO frames the hire around solving an industry-wide adoption gap
Bob Jennings, CEO of TrustEngine, said most lenders face an adoption problem rather than a technology problem, and that Durham's career has centered on building training and support programs that embed tools into daily loan officer routines. The company's stated goal is to make MortgageCoach the first platform loan officers open each morning.
Durham said he intends to position MortgageCoach as the "startup system" loan officers use to review their pipeline and borrower options before every call.
