Carlsbad, Calif. – September 18, 2026 -- Hall of Fame quarterback and broadcaster Troy Aikman has taken an ownership stake in Qualia Life Sciences, a supplement brand founded in 2015 that has built its reputation on human clinical studies conducted on every formula prior to release.
Aikman moves from potential endorser to equity owner in longevity brand
Aikman, a three-time Super Bowl champion and current broadcaster on the third most-watched television show in America, said he has historically turned down endorsement offers from nutritional brands due to skepticism about efficacy. He credited Qualia's supplements with personally sustaining his energy, fitness, and mental sharpness at age 59, stating the results convinced him to join the company's ownership team rather than simply lend his name.
Qualia has secured shelf space at GNC, Sprouts, and The Vitamin Shoppe
The company's products are now distributed through major U.S. retail chains including GNC, Sprouts, and The Vitamin Shoppe. Qualia CEO James Schmachtenberger said the partnership followed direct observation of Aikman's use of the products before the ownership deal was finalized.
Qualia won the 2025 Nutrition Business Journal Science & Innovation Award
Qualia received the 2025 Nutrition Business Journal Science & Innovation Award and was the only supplement brand to earn multiple 2025 NEXTY Award nominations. The company was also named to the 2026 INC 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States, and recently achieved peer-reviewed publication in the International Journal of Molecular Sciences.
New product launches include Qualia 2-Day Detox with more formulas planned
The company's expanding product line includes best-sellers Qualia Senolytic, Qualia Mind, and Qualia NAD+, alongside newer releases such as Qualia 2-Day Detox and Qualia Creatine+. Additional formulas are scheduled for launch over the next year as the brand scales its retail footprint and clinical research output.
