FastGPT Ships v4.16.0 With Conditional Workflows, Sandbox Overhaul
Hangzhou – September 10, 2026 -- FastGPT, an open-source AI orchestration platform, has released multiple updated versions -- v4.8.10, v4.9.2 and v4.16.0 -- adding conditional workflow logic and revised self-hosted deployment requirements.
New user selection node enables Confirm/Cancel branching in workflows
The update introduces a user selection node allowing conditional branching via Confirm/Cancel prompts, though the feature is limited to workflow use and incompatible with plugins, tool calls, or Debug mode. Additional workflow changes include automatic edge and center alignment for dragged nodes, local editing history with undo/redo shortcuts, and workflow version renaming. Migrated application call nodes, plugin usage description configuration, and HTTP node support for text/plain mode and timeout settings round out the design updates.
