ChurnZero CEO Sets Five Conditions for Autonomous CS Agents

Global – October 12, 2026 -- Whether autonomous AI agents free up customer success teams or just add noise depends on five conditions set before deployment, according to ChurnZero founder and CEO YouMon Tsang.

Tsang laid out the framework in an appearance on the Startup Builders and Backers podcast.

Agents need both facts and context to make useful recommendations

Tsang separates CS data into two layers. Facts are contract dates, pricing, ARR and points of contact. Information is the context around the relationship: call transcripts, email threads, and product and usage know-how. Agents fed both can produce more strategic recommendations. Agents fed only contract and usage data work with facts alone, which puts recommendation quality at risk.

Shared Signals Framework Brings Near Real-Time Access to Zero Trust

Shared Signals Framework Brings Near Real-Time Access to Zero Trust

Global – October 12, 2026 -- Re-validating an access token at every request would multiply the load on an identity provider (IdP) by roughly 1,000x, assuming a 24-hour token is used 1,000 times. That figure is why the OpenID Foundation's Shared Signals Framework (SSF) is gaining traction as the mechanism for keeping Zero Trust access decisions current.

Short-lived tokens cut IdP load to about 24x but degrade user experience

Shortening a token's life from 24 hours to one hour raises IdP burden by only about 24x. Users, however, face repeated redirects to the IdP and back, which degrades the experience. Neither approach lets an organization instantly revoke access after a termination or rogue agent activity, or react when device or task conditions change while a token is still valid.

Experts: Drainage Planning Cuts Flood, Foundation Risk Pre-Construction

Pueblo, Colo. – October 06, 2026 -- Unmanaged runoff during site preparation can trigger erosion, foundation damage, and site-access failures during storms, according to an analysis published by HelloNation featuring engineering and surveying expert Michael Cuppy of Pueblo, Colorado.

Drainage mapping identifies low points before grading begins

The analysis describes drainage planning as a process that maps natural runoff flow and low points across a building site before grading decisions are finalized. Engineers use this data to design swales, retention areas, and underground piping systems that direct water away from structures, roads, and utilities. Builders who skip this step risk standing water, soil instability, and basement flooding that can extend liability to neighboring properties.

Crate, Skid or Pallet: Logistics Experts Detail Machinery Shipping Risks

Greeneville, S.C. – October 06, 2026 -- Choosing the wrong packaging method for industrial machinery shipments can expose businesses to damage, delays and costly repairs, according to crating and logistics specialists Ed and Stacey Pinson of CWF Crating and Logistics, LLC. The Greeneville-based firm outlined the operational trade-offs between crates, skids and pallets in a published guidance piece on industrial shipping standards.

Pallets remain the lowest-cost option for standard machinery loads

A pallet offers basic support that allows forklifts and pallet jacks to move goods efficiently, making it suitable for straightforward machinery transport. The format keeps shipping costs lower but may lack sufficient structure for complex or delicate equipment.
