swissQprint America Opens Larger Illinois Headquarters and Closes Four Deals at Launch Event

SHERIDAN, WYOMING -- July 07, 2026 -- swissQprint America opened its new headquarters in West Dundee, Illinois, on June 24, marking both a physical expansion and the company's 10th anniversary serving the North American market. The Open House drew customers, partners and industry professionals to tour the newly completed building, which offers roughly 130% more space than the company's previous site. Four customers signed purchase contracts during the event itself, translating the celebration into immediate business. The larger facility is meant to expand customer support, technical service and training capacity across the United States and Canada.

New Showroom Anchors a Day of Live Demonstrations

A 4,700-square-foot showroom and hospitality area gave attendees hands-on access to swissQprint's flatbed and roll-to-roll printing systems alongside a range of application samples. Throughout the day, swissQprint and technology partners Caldera, OneVision and Color Logic ran live demonstrations centered on workflow efficiency, automation and production optimization. Visitors saw how integrated workflows connect file preparation through to final output. Sessions focused on practical ways print service providers can raise productivity and move into higher-value work.

Print Providers Get a Case for Combining Volume and Value

Presenters walked attendees through strategies for running high-volume production and high-value applications on a single platform, without forcing a tradeoff between the two. The pitch centered on expanding an existing application portfolio while lifting both output and profitability. Networking sessions gave visiting print professionals informal time with swissQprint's team as well as with each other.

Four Contracts Signed the Same Day

The open house produced a concrete business result alongside the celebration. Print Panther added an Oryx 5 system, Sign Ink expanded its fleet with a fourth swissQprint unit, and Inpro purchased its third swissQprint system, a Kudu.

"We place a great deal of trust in our swissQprint platform and have invested in Kudu to support our future growth plans," said Craig Faust, COO of Inpro.

Dan Thompson, CEO at Italic, said the company's existing Nyala 3 continues to meet client print-quality expectations, and that adding a Kudu gives Italic the extra production capacity it needs to hit its growth targets.

Building Designed Around a Growing Installed Base

Construction on the roughly 24,780-square-foot facility took about a year to complete. The site sits closer to Chicago O'Hare International Airport than the company's previous location, cutting travel time for visiting customers. Beyond the showroom, the building includes an expanded warehouse and a dedicated 2,153-square-foot technical center used for machine servicing and refurbishment of pre-owned systems. An additional 15,000 square feet remains available for future growth, and the property draws power from 400 solar panels.

Leadership Ties the Facility to the Next Growth Phase

Erik Norman, President of swissQprint America, said the team was thrilled by the turnout and excited to mark the milestone alongside customers, partners and staff. Kilian Hintermann, CEO of swissQprint in Switzerland, added that the energy at the event reflected the relationships built over the past decade and the momentum the company sees across the North American market. Norman said the facility raises customer support to a new level and lays the groundwork for the company's next stage of regional growth, pointing to more reliable access to consumables and spare parts, additional hands-on training, and closer technical collaboration as direct benefits for customers.
