Sandy Springs facility already serves over 5,000 patients with room to scale to 15,000
The pharmacy, operational since earlier this year, currently supports more than 5,000 patients and has capacity to serve up to 15,000 as regional demand grows. It joins SpecialtyRx's network of 15 regional pharmacy locations and functions as the company's central hub for Georgia operations.
Facility adds 24/7 clinical support and STAT medication delivery for skilled nursing providers
The location provides 24/7 pharmacist support, emergency STAT medication delivery, and same-day IV services for skilled nursing facilities and assisted living communities. Connected technology enables prescription and delivery tracking alongside secure communication between pharmacy teams and on-site caregivers.
SpecialtyRx employs 35 workers in Sandy Springs, plans 75 to 100 new jobs within two years
The facility currently employs 35 team members, including pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, operations professionals, and support staff. SpecialtyRx expects to add 75 to 100 additional jobs at the site over the next two years.

The ceremony will take place at the pharmacy's location, 8601 Dunwoody Place, Suite 430, Sandy Springs, GA 30350, bringing together company leadership, healthcare partners, community leaders, and elected officials. While focused on greater Atlanta and Georgia, the facility also extends SpecialtyRx's capacity to support long-term care providers across the Southeast.
