SHERIDAN, WYOMING – July 21, 2025 – Sidel, a global leader in packaging solutions and industrial innovation, has announced the launch of its inaugural summer camp at the company’s Octeville-sur-Mer site in France. This initiative aims to attract and nurture aspiring engineers by offering an immersive, hands-on experience that blends skill development with real-world industry exposure.
Empowering Students Through Practical Experience
The Sidel summer camp will run from July 7 to 11, 2025, and will host 20 engineering students aged between 21 and 25 from selected partner universities. Designed as a free, five-day program, the camp will provide participants with an opportunity to engage in hands-on workshops, collaborative problem-solving exercises, and a live challenge focused on designing a customer-oriented product prototype.
Throughout the program, students will have direct access to Sidel’s engineering and services teams, offering valuable insights into the operations of a leading global industrial company. A second edition of the summer camp is also scheduled at Sidel’s Parma site from July 21 to 25, extending the program’s reach and impact.
A Strategic Commitment to Talent Development

Through structured, targeted programmes, we equip students with problem-solving abilities, teamwork skills, and the motivation needed to excel in their fields. The Sidel summer camp offers them a hands-on, immersive experience — and for the most committed, it can open real career opportunities within our group.”
Applications for the Octeville summer camp are open until Friday, June 20, 2025. Students must submit a CV and a short motivation letter via the online portal at https://www.sidel.com/summercamp-octeville.
