Sandvik Books SEK 340M Underground Equipment Order in Mexico

Stockholm – October 12, 2026 -- Sandvik has booked an underground equipment order worth around SEK 340 million from Mexican mining contractor Constructora Minera Villagómez S.A. de C.V. (CoMinVi), the company said. The order was recorded in the second quarter.

Order covers trucks, loaders and drill rigs for several CoMinVi sites

The equipment will be used at several of CoMinVi's contract sites across Mexico. The package comprises trucks, loaders and drill rigs.

Deliveries run from 2026 through 2028

Deliveries are expected to begin during 2026 and continue through 2028, spreading revenue recognition across multiple years.

Patrick Murphy, President of Sandvik's Mining business area, described the deal as a deepening of a longstanding partnership, saying Sandvik looks forward to "continue supporting their operations."
