Knoxville, Tenn. – September 23, 2026 -- ResultStack has completed a national benchmark evaluating hundreds of convenience-store brands to rank the 100 strongest digital ecosystems in the industry, with results to be shared privately at NACS 2026 in Las Vegas.
Benchmark evaluates connectivity, not just app features
The Top 100 C-Store Digital Ranking assesses mobile, loyalty, payments, ordering, personalization, rewards, partnerships and connectivity as an integrated system rather than isolated tools. ResultStack, whose team combines more than 50 years of operator-side convenience retail experience, built the framework to measure how effectively these capabilities work together across the customer journey.
Findings target AI readiness and hidden revenue leaks
The research is designed to expose digital friction that may be contributing to lost revenue or margin pressure, and to flag whether a retailer's underlying digital infrastructure can support AI-integrated workflows and business process automation. ResultStack CEO Ben Farmer said the analysis was structured around questions technology leaders are already asking: where value is being created, where disconnected systems are creating drag, and where AI-driven automation could deliver cost savings and competitive differentiation.
Private reviews open at NACS 2026 in Las Vegas
Retailers included in the study can schedule 15-minute private reviews at NACS 2026, running October 7-9 at the Central Hall, New Exhibitor Area, Booth C3375. Sessions will cover individual rankings, the data behind each score, and implications for digital roadmap planning.
Ecosystem gaps often invisible when tools are assessed separately
ResultStack's analysis notes that a retailer can operate a strong loyalty program while still facing friction between ordering and rewards redemption, or deploy advanced mobile features while customer data remains fragmented across platforms. A third pattern identified in the research involves retailers with heavy digital investment lacking the connectivity required to leverage emerging AI capabilities. The benchmark is intended to surface these gaps at a system level rather than a feature level.
