Venice, Florida – November 03, 2026 -- Rep Com International (RCI) has become the first national manufacturers' representative for Charles Industries, an Amphenol company, effective immediately, giving the outside-plant enclosure maker sales coverage across all 50 U.S. states.
RCI will work alongside Charles' direct sales team and distributors
RCI will sell the Charles line to local, regional and national fiber network operators and broadband providers building metro and last-mile networks. It will operate next to Charles' existing direct sales organization and distribution partners. The stated aim is wider market coverage across traditional telecom, broadband and emerging AI and data center infrastructure.
RCI describes itself as the only independent manufacturers' representative firm serving the U.S. telecommunications and broadband industry in all 50 states. It was founded in 1983 and is headquartered in Venice, Florida. Its sales force is 100 percent employee-based. Its other principals include Prysmian, Viavi, HFCL, Infra Pipes and ProLabs.
Charles brings 20 million deployed enclosures and a modular data center line
Charles Industries was founded in 1968 and operates five North American manufacturing centers. It reports more than 20 million enclosures deployed. The portfolio covers fiber distribution pedestals and cabinets, below-grade pedestrian and tier-rated enclosures, universal broadband and OSP fiber and power cabinets, splice closures and terminals, and HyperEdge Modular Data Centers.
The agreement places the full Charles outside-plant line under one national agreement at RCI. RCI says this strengthens its offering to distributors and customers.
RCI ties the deal to its 2026 AI critical infrastructure push
RCI announced in 2026 that it was extending its national platform into the broader AI critical infrastructure market. RCI President Eric Farst called the agreement "a milestone for our organization" and said it fits that strategy, citing protection of networks that carry AI traffic.
Dominic J. Imbrogno, General Manager of Charles Industries, said RCI's national reach, technical depth and industry relationships would extend the Charles brand's market presence. Financial terms were not disclosed.
