ProphetX Taps Plaee to Scale Distribution for Regulated Sports Prediction Markets

New York – September 30, 2026 -- ProphetX, described as America's first federally regulated sports-native prediction market, has signed a technology partnership with Plaee to give distribution operators a single integration point into its CFTC-regulated exchange, avoiding custom builds for each new partner.

Plaee's stack bundles trading, CRM and compliance access for operators

Through the deal, operators connect to ProphetX via Plaee's Prediction Trader, a white-label trading interface, and PlaeeOS, a CRM, personalization and monetization engine. Plaee says the setup lets operators add prediction markets to an existing product line or launch a standalone distribution channel within weeks using their current teams, rather than building exchange connectivity, liquidity access and regulatory infrastructure themselves.

ProphetX gains distribution reach without building custom pipelines

"Plaee has built real infrastructure for distribution operators who want to offer access to prediction markets without taking on the regulatory and tech build themselves," said Jake Benzaquen, Co-Founder and CCO of ProphetX. "Pairing that with ProphetX's exchange gives those operators a compliant, ready-to-go path to offer sports event contracts to their users."

Leon Okun, Co-Founder and CEO of Plaee, said the partnership addresses three hurdles operators face: product development, liquidity access and time-to-market. He said ProphetX brings a CFTC-compliant exchange purpose-built for sports to Plaee's stack, while ProphetX gains broader distribution through a single integration.

ProphetX's Partner Distribution Program absorbs clearing and custody functions

Under ProphetX's Partner Distribution Program, the exchange handles clearing, custody, market operations and the core regulatory functions tied to operating a CFTC-regulated exchange. This structure allows Plaee's operator clients to access regulated exchange infrastructure without becoming a Designated Contract Market or Derivatives Clearing Organization themselves.

Integration is live in Beta within Plaee's platform

ProphetX will be integrated as a regulated exchange within Plaee's Prediction Trader interface and PlaeeOS backend, made available to Plaee's operator clients as part of their existing platform. The integration is currently in Beta. ProphetX was founded in 2018 as a sports-focused, event-driven contract exchange in the U.S.
