Auckland – October 05, 2026 -- Aroa Biosurgery Limited (ASX: ARX) reported that its Symphony wound care product achieved a 55% complete closure rate for diabetic foot ulcers within 12 weeks, compared with 35% for standard of care alone, in a peer-reviewed randomized controlled trial published in the International Wound Journal.
Trial enrolled 143 patients across 10 U.S. sites to test Symphony against standard care
The prospective, multicenter RCT randomized patients with Wagner Grade 1 or 2 diabetic foot ulcers to receive either weekly Symphony plus standard of care or standard of care alone, for up to 12 weeks or until complete closure. Ulcers ranged from full-thickness skin wounds to deeper lesions extending into ligaments, tendons, joint capsules or deep fascia.
