Transmart Targets North America With Ultra-Thin Core Tech for AI Data Centers
Foshan – September 30, 2026 -- Transmart Industrial Limited is expanding its push into North America, betting that ultra-thin nanocrystalline ribbon technology will capture demand from AI data centers and power grid upgrades as U.S. electricity consumption enters its strongest four-year growth streak since 2000.
Transmart manufactures nanocrystalline ribbon at 12 to 14 micrometers, a thickness achieved by only a small number of manufacturers worldwide
The thinner ribbon reduces eddy-current losses at high switching frequencies, letting engineers design transformers, inductors and filters that run cooler while shrinking in size and weight for a given power rating. Transmart's self-developed, patented production lines cover precision slitting, automatic winding, vacuum annealing and multi-wire cutting, giving the company direct control over ribbon dimensions, magnetic properties and core geometry.
