Menlo Park, Calif. – September 24, 2026 -- PhoenixAI has become a foundational database partner for Cloudera, making its cloud database engine available on the newly launched Cloudera Anywhere Cloud Marketplace to deliver sub-second real-time analytics for agentic AI workloads.
PhoenixAI database engine enters Cloudera's private and sovereign cloud ecosystem
Enterprise customers can now deploy PhoenixAI's database engine directly within Cloudera's secure private and public cloud environments. The integration targets organizations scaling autonomous AI agents and real-time decision systems that require sub-second access to fresh enterprise data while meeting governance and data sovereignty mandates.
Platform promises sub-second SQL performance without ETL pipelines
PhoenixAI delivers sub-second SQL query performance across live streaming data and historical lakehouse formats, sustaining high concurrency without performance degradation. Customers can spin up a managed database cluster in a few clicks via the Cloudera Anywhere Cloud Marketplace, querying real-time and lakehouse data in place and eliminating mandatory data denormalization, pre-aggregations, or ETL pipelines. The deployment enforces fine-grained role-based access control, per-query auditing, and full data sovereignty within the customer's private cloud environment.
Executives frame partnership as bridge from AI experimentation to production
"AI agents and modern real-time applications demand sub-second data access without compromising security or operational simplicity," said Andy Ye, co-founder and chief product officer of PhoenixAI, adding that the partnership lets mutual customers deploy the database engine instantly within trusted private cloud infrastructure. Michelle Hoover, SVP of Global Alliances & Channels at Cloudera, said customers want AI on their own terms, self-hosted or via Bring Your Own Cloud, with data under their control.
PhoenixAI to demo integration at Cloudera's EVOLVE26 event in New York
PhoenixAI will showcase the integration and host live technical demonstrations at Cloudera's EVOLVE26 customer event on October 27, 2026, at the Marriott Marquis in New York City. Attendees can view sub-second agentic AI query execution and cluster deployment via the Cloudera Anywhere Marketplace. PhoenixAI was formerly known as CelerData and created the open-source StarRocks project.
