Cleveland – September 30, 2026 -- Park Place Technologies has launched ParkView Asset Intelligence, an AI-powered platform that assigns every server, storage, network and security device a lifecycle health score from 0 to 100, giving IT managers OEM-level visibility to decide whether to refresh, repair or retire equipment.
Platform draws on 35 years of service data across nearly one million assets
Each score combines three data streams: Park Place's own hardware maintenance records spanning more than 35 years and roughly one million serviced assets across every major manufacturer, regional spare-parts availability, and a customer's own asset performance and service history. CEO Chris Adams said a device scoring 66 carries a different risk profile once IT teams see that comparable devices in the same model family average 92.
About 1 in 50 devices flagged as high risk across tier-1 OEM fleets
Chief Product Officer Daniel Nelson said data across hundreds of thousands of device health assessments from multiple tier-1 OEMs shows roughly 2% of devices today are identified as high risk, indicating a change is needed. The platform is designed to surface those risks — configuration problems, firmware gaps, deteriorating component trends — before they generate a support ticket.
Scoring works independent of the operating system
Hardware-level data is collected out-of-band from enrolled assets, so scoring continues even when the OS is unreachable, with each score paired with a confidence indicator. A portfolio dashboard breaks health scores down by OEM, product family and location, allowing teams to track thousands of assets and prioritize attention.
Analyst calls the system a shift from reactive to planned maintenance
Paul Bevan, Research Director for IT Infrastructure at Bloor Research, said Park Place has built an intelligence system atop the data ParkView already holds on the health, performance and lifecycle of every asset in a customer's environment, turning maintenance and refresh decisions into planned rather than reactive actions.
Beta rollout targets organizations running hardware past OEM support
For organizations running equipment past OEM support on third-party maintenance contracts, the scores are intended to supply documented evidence to justify that decision internally, or an early warning to act before a failure forces the issue. The beta version is available now to existing Park Place customers and closes October 31; new customers can receive the full version immediately.
