Panasonic Launches KAIROS Panels, Auto Color Matching for Live Production

Wiesbaden, Germany – September 07, 2026 -- Panasonic Connect Europe has unveiled new broadcast and ProAV tools, including two KAIROS control panels, an automatic color-matching update for Image Adjust Pro software, and enhanced color functions for its 4K studio cameras, targeting broadcasters and live production teams seeking faster, more consistent workflows.

Two New KAIROS Control Panels Arrive in 2027

Panasonic introduced the AT-KP340, featuring 12 Bus/40 Crosspoint buttons, and the AT-KP330 with 12 Bus/30 Crosspoint buttons, both designed for the KAIROS IT/IP live video production platform. Large touch panels on each bus row give operators direct access to snapshots and macros, reducing operator fatigue during complex, large-scale productions. The AT-KP340 is scheduled for release in Q2 2027, with the AT-KP330 following in Q3 2027.

Image Adjust Pro Gains Automatic Color Matching in Q4 2026

Panasonic's Image Adjust Pro Media Production Suite plugin will receive an update featuring virtual remote control panels and a new automatic color-matching function, set for release in Q4 2026. The tool aligns colors from multiple cameras to a reference camera without requiring specialist expertise, cutting manual adjustment of gamma, matrix and color correction settings. Only Panasonic cameras support the color adjustment when using a reference camera, though that reference camera can be a third-party model. The update is planned to support the upcoming AW-UE200 and AW-UER200 PTZ cameras.

AK-UCX100 and AK-UBX100 Cameras Get New Color Tools via Firmware

Panasonic will roll out new color adjustment functions for its AK-UCX100 studio camera and AK-UBX100 multi-purpose camera in Q4 2026 through a firmware update. The Color Temp. Blend function merges color temperature data from LED walls and stage lighting to generate optimal white balance, aligning visuals between real-world subjects and LED wall imagery.

Target Color Correction lets users isolate a specific color and adjust its hue and saturation individually, useful for correcting corporate brand colors or sponsor logos on LED walls, with support for configuring up to three color tables simultaneously. The Chroma Suppression function reduces color shift and saturation in highly saturated visuals while preserving overall color reproduction, aimed at operators filming LED screens with live computer-generated imagery at events such as concerts.
