Octagos Named Only Cardiac Monitoring Firm on TIME HealthTech List

Houston – September 19, 2026 -- Octagos has been named to TIME and Statista's World's Top HealthTech Companies of 2026 list, marking the only cardiac implantable electronic device (CIED) monitoring company recognized in either the inaugural 2025 ranking or the 2026 edition.

TIME and Statista rank Octagos among 82 AI and Data Analytics firms out of 500 global honorees

The evaluation weighted financial performance at 50%, reputation at 30%, and online engagement at 20%. Octagos received a "Very High" performance rating within the AI and Data Analytics category, one of six categories spanning the 500-company list.

Peer-reviewed study shows Atlas AI achieves 99.1% sensitivity versus 70.8% for unaided specialists

A study published in JACC: Advances evaluated 690,673 transmissions from 74,217 devices across 78 U.S. clinics. Octagos' proprietary Atlas AI engine alone matched device specialists reviewing without AI support on sensitivity by a wide margin -- 99.1% versus 70.8%. The company's Two-Brain Approach, pairing Atlas AI with review by an IBHRE-certified device specialist, recorded 99.5% accuracy, 99.1% sensitivity and 99.8% specificity.

Octagos monitors nearly 1 million patients across 400-plus U.S. clinical sites

The company has processed more than 1 billion pages of transmissions and supports all major CIED manufacturers, heart failure devices, and ambulatory cardiac monitors within a single workflow. Octagos builds bi-directional EHR integrations in-house at no cost to clinics.

Clinics report a 65% reduction in clinical burden and 200-plus staff hours returned monthly per 1,000 patients

Urgent findings reach clinics within one hour, while routine transmissions are delivered within 24 hours, both including clinical specialist review. Octagos prices its service per billable event, aligning monitoring costs with clinical reimbursement structures.

"We are building toward a future in which healthcare technology is not simply a tool clinicians use, but an intelligent layer woven into how care is delivered," said Dr. Shanti Bansal, founder and CEO of Octagos.
