Troy, Mich. – September 28, 2026 -- North, a U.S. fintech processing more than $100 billion in annual transaction volume, has launched Embedded Checkout, a native payment integration now live in the Webflow Marketplace. The tool embeds North's payment infrastructure directly into Webflow's visual design canvas, eliminating the need to redirect shoppers to external checkout pages during the final stage of a purchase.
Embedded Checkout removes off-site redirects that have long slowed conversion for high-ticket web builds
Web studios building invoicing portals, client dashboards, and premium service sites have previously had to stitch together separate design tools, data plugins, and third-party checkout links to complete a transaction. North's integration consolidates that stack, keeping the entire purchase flow inside Webflow. "By formally partnering with Webflow, we are putting payment processing infrastructure directly into the designer's canvas," said Bryan Long, Senior Director of Product Management at North, adding that the move lets businesses raise checkout completion rates without fragmenting their digital experience.
North routes transactions through its own processor, EPX, bypassing third-party payment facilitators
Rather than relying on aggregate payment facilitators, North processes transactions through its owned processor, Electronic Payment Exchange (EPX). The company says this structure gives high-ticket professional services and enterprise B2B merchants full underwriting clearance before launch, avoiding sudden funding holds tied to third-party facilitator models.
The integration bundles mobile wallets, tokenized PCI protection, and real-time boarding visibility
Embedded Checkout supports native rendering of Apple Pay and Google Pay optimized for mobile viewports. A single-token architecture keeps card data from touching merchant or Webflow servers, reducing the scope of PCI compliance audits. Agencies also get programmatic webhook status updates tracking merchant boarding in real time.
Webflow Partners can register as North sales partners to earn recurring revenue from deployed checkouts
The partnership creates a commercial layer for Webflow's developer ecosystem. Agencies that standardize client builds on North's checkout engine can register as official North sales partners, generating recurring revenue from every processed transaction tied to the checkouts they deploy. "Partnering with North lets our customers easily access enterprise grade payment infrastructure without fragmenting the web experiences they're building in Webflow," said Greg Kelly, Director of Technology Partnerships at Webflow, whose platform is used by more than 300,000 companies and over 2,000 Certified Webflow Partners, including Dropbox, Orangetheory Fitness, and Docusign.
