Norge Mining Secures $125M GEM Facility Tied to Future Listing

London – – September 30, 2026 -- Norge Mining Limited has entered a strategic partnership with GEM Global Yield LLC SCS, part of the $3.4 billion alternative investment group Global Emerging Markets, securing a share subscription facility of up to $125 million that activates only once the company completes a public listing.

GEM commits $125 million facility contingent on Norge Mining's stock market debut

The facility is designed to form part of a broader funding strategy as Norge Mining works to advance both upstream and downstream projects toward Final Investment Decisions. More than $100 million has already been invested in the company's development, covering exploration, resource definition and technical studies, and its upstream Pre-Feasibility Study has now been completed.

Partnership opens access to GEM's government and industrial networks

Beyond capital, GEM will connect Norge Mining's management with government stakeholders and industrial counterparties, including potential offtakers, across U.S., European and allied markets. The arrangement targets two specific channels: engagement with U.S. and allied government entities focused on critical minerals supply-chain security, and introductions to downstream industrial partners across titanium, vanadium and phosphate value chains.

Norwegian resource spans 4.6 billion tonnes across 26.3 square kilometers

Through its wholly owned subsidiary Norge Mineraler AS, Norge Mining holds mineral extraction rights from the Norwegian Directorate of Mining covering 26.3 km2 in southwest Norway. The company has defined roughly 4.6 billion tonnes of JORC-compliant resources containing titanium, vanadium and phosphate, which it considers the largest known igneous phosphate resource globally. The phosphate carries high purity with ultra-low cadmium and uranium levels, positioning it as a potential benchmark feedstock for downstream phosphate processing.

Washington's phosphorus policy shift adds urgency to the project

The United States designated phosphate a critical mineral in November 2025, and Executive Order 14387, signed February 18, 2026, invoked the Defense Production Act to secure elemental phosphorus supply, citing its role in military readiness, semiconductors, lithium-ion battery chemistries and food security. Norway's status as a founding NATO member and participant in the European single market through the European Economic Area gives the project a politically stable base closely aligned with both Washington and Brussels.

John Vergopoulos, CEO of Norge Mining, said: "Critical minerals are no longer simply a commodity issue; they are a strategic supply-chain issue for governments and industries. At Norge Mining we call our response 'vertical thinking': building an integrated supply chain from the resource in the ground through to the products strategic industries need."
