Los Angeles – September 24, 2026 -- NO CAP! Soda Pop has become the No. 1 modern soda brand by both dollar sales and units sold at a national convenience retailer operating more than 2,000 stores, according to the retailer's latest 12-week SPINS data.

Brand overtakes Poppi and Olipop within six months of shelf entry

Co-founder cites capital disadvantage against larger rivals

"To become the No. 1 modern soda with this retail partner less than six months after hitting shelves is a huge moment for us," said Vinny Wilson, co-founder of NO CAP! Soda Pop. He noted the brand competed against companies with significantly more capital, distribution and years in the market.

Founded in August 2024, brand targets zero-sugar, zero-caffeine niche

NO CAP! sells zero-sugar, zero-calorie and zero-caffeine sodas with added electrolytes, positioning the line between traditional soda and the modern soda category. The brand has paired nostalgic flavor profiles with functional ingredients to differentiate from established CSD players.

Licensed tie-ins with ICEE, Sour Punch and Albanese Gummies expand shelf presence

NO CAP! has launched licensed collaborations with ICEE, Sour Punch and Albanese Gummies as part of its retail expansion strategy. The brand will showcase its newest collaborations at the 2026 NACS Show, running October 7-9 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, exhibiting at Booth N1171 for convenience retailers and buyers.

Retailer talks target 2027 rollout of exclusive SKUs

NO CAP! is in discussions with its national convenience retail partner on a potential 2027 expansion involving exclusive new SKUs, building on current sales performance across the chain's 2,000-plus stores.
