UK customer signs RMB 198 million order after evaluating global peers
A UK customer assessed Niutech's European and Chinese project references, benchmarked the company against competitors worldwide, and signed an order worth RMB 198 million for chemical recycling equipment. The company frames the deal as capital-backed validation of its technology maturity in international waste plastic recycling.
New pyrolysis line processes over 100 tonnes per day of tires or plastics
Niutech's new-generation large industrial continuous intelligent pyrolysis line handles over 100 tonnes per day of waste tires per unit, recovering carbon black with toluene transmittance above 80%, a grade suitable as upstream feedstock for tire manufacturing. A parallel plastics line also processes over 100 tonnes per day of materials including low-value municipal plastics, ocean plastics and waste textiles (PP, PE, PS, ABS, nylon) without requiring washing, sorting, drying or fine crushing before single-step cracking.
EU regulation on packaging, ecodesign and vehicles pushes recycled-content mandates
The EU's Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation, Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation, and End-of-Life Vehicles Regulation are raising requirements for recycled material content, drawing international attention to continuous pyrolysis technology. Niutech's equipment already holds EU CE, German TÜV, ATEX and ISCC certifications.
Chinese subsidiary expands to 160,000 tonnes annual capacity
Majority-owned subsidiary Hesheng Environmental Protection, commissioned in 2013 as China's first continuous tire recycling project and the sector's first ISCC-certified operation, has run stably for over 10 years. In 2026, Hesheng launched a 100,000-tonne Phase II project using the new pyrolysis line, lifting total capacity to 160,000 tonnes per year.
Company pursues sustainable aviation fuel pathway through energy major partnerships
Niutech is researching extended clean tire pyrolysis oil chains and new blending pathways aimed at sustainable aviation fuel and other alternative energy applications, working with overseas energy majors alongside in-house R&D. The company has delivered 10,000-tonne-scale projects across dozens of countries including Germany, the UK, South Korea, Denmark and Brazil.
"The maturity of a technology is best verified through industrial projects," said the head of Niutech's marketing department. "Our project references in China and overseas are becoming our most persuasive calling card."
