MEXC Tops SOL and DOGE Order Book Liquidity in CoinGecko 2026 CEX Study

Mutsamudu, Comoros – September 30, 2026 -- MEXC recorded the highest order book liquidity at market price for both SOL and DOGE among eight exchanges surveyed in CoinGecko Research's 2026 Crypto Liquidity on CEXes Report, which tracked the top five non-stablecoin assets over 60 days from July 6 to September 3, 2026.

MEXC posts $934,000 in SOL liquidity at market price, the study's top figure

CoinGecko found SOL liquidity more evenly distributed across venues in 2026 than the prior year, even as overall depth declined. MEXC held the lead at the immediate market price, though Bitget and Coinbase overtook it beyond the ±$0.20 range, indicating a more fragmented competitive field for SOL execution.

DOGE liquidity at market price exceeds $443,000 on MEXC, ahead of Binance and OKX

Only three exchanges -- Binance, MEXC and OKX -- surpassed $200,000 in DOGE liquidity at the market price. MEXC regained the top position past the ±$0.0006 (0.3%) range, overtaking Binance and Bitget, with depth leveling off at roughly $2 million on each side of the book beyond the ±1% interval.

MEXC sustains DOGE depth through August 21 price shifts

The report examined DOGE liquidity during a market event on August 21, when MEXC maintained substantial depth across the order book as prices moved. Analysts also observed larger block orders placed by MEXC traders around key price levels during subsequent DOGE price action.

"For retail traders, liquidity is fundamental to market quality. It determines execution efficiency, price stability and the ability to enter or exit positions with confidence," said Vugar Usi Zade, CEO of MEXC.

MEXC said it will continue strengthening market depth and execution quality as part of its "Infinite Opportunities" strategy.
