Silicon Valley – – September 30, 2026 -- Meshy has surpassed $100 million in annual recurring revenue, a 100x increase from $1 million in under two years, making it the first AI 3D company to reach the milestone. The platform now counts more than 15 million registered users and over 3,000 companies and educational institutions, who have collectively generated more than 100 million 3D models. Half of the world's ten most valuable companies by market capitalization or private valuation are Meshy customers, and teams at 200 Fortune Global 500 firms build with the platform.
Meshy 7.1 raises geometry resolution to Ultra 4K and tops industry benchmarks
Released this month, Meshy 7.1 lifts geometry generation to Ultra 4K resolution. The company also open-sourced its full alignment benchmark suite for image-to-3D generation, with Meshy 7 leading the industry on both geometry and texture benchmarks, scoring 5.6 percentage points above the average of comparable systems in end-to-end texture alignment.
Series B funding of nearly $400 million valued Meshy at $1.5 billion in July 2026
The round marked the largest financing to date in the AI 3D sector. Meshy's VP of Growth, Faye Pan, said the ARR milestone reflects growing demand for AI-powered 3D creation across game studios, film teams, educators and home 3D printing enthusiasts.
Frontier language models and Meshy's diffusion-based generation now work in production together
Meshy's revenue climb coincided with rapid progress in general-purpose models, including releases such as GPT-6 Astra. General models handle understanding, planning and coding, while Meshy's foundation models specialize in generation, converting a text prompt or image into game-engine or 3D-printer-ready assets typically in under a minute. The two systems already combine in production workflows, where the spatial understanding of frontier models can drive Meshy's API to turn a single image into a complete 3D scene.
Official Meshy mobile app launches on iOS and Android, powered by Meshy 7
The app converts photos, sketches and text into fully textured 3D models directly on a phone, with printability checks, AI repair, AR preview and export to STL, GLB, FBX, OBJ, USDZ and 3MF formats. Creations sync across web and mobile through a single account, and users can explore and remix models from the Meshy community. The full workflow, from photographing an object to previewing it in AR and sending it to a printer, runs in about a minute on a phone.
Meshy expands from work tools into AI-native entertainment
The company's research architecture, Mora (Multimodal Open-world Real-time Architecture), generates explorable, interactive worlds in real time, with a public demo, Mora 1, live at mora.fun. Meshy's first AI-native game, Black Box: Infinite Arsenal, generates in-game gear and combat mechanics from player prompts and will make its official public debut at Steam Next Fest at the end of 2026.
