Cincinnati and Indianapolis – September 18, 2026 -- L2 Aviation has appointed Jason Marshall, former Director of Business Development at AMETEK, as its Vice President of Sales and Business Development, tasking him with converting qualified opportunities into bookings across commercial, business, military, and special-mission markets.
Marshall to lead expansion into Advanced Air Mobility and new commercial verticals
In his new role, Marshall will direct business development efforts, strengthen customer and partner relationships, and align sales strategy with L2 Aviation's engineering, manufacturing, certification, aircraft modification, repair, and field-support capabilities. His mandate extends to Advanced Air Mobility, a vertical the company is targeting alongside existing commercial and defense markets.
Executives cite Marshall's track record in go-to-market leadership and corporate growth
Tony Bailey, President and Chief Operating Officer of L2 Aviation, said he has worked with Marshall previously and credited him with the ability to translate complex technical capabilities into clear customer value. Jeff Rex, Chief Revenue Officer, said Marshall's background in strategic account leadership and disciplined business development will help connect customer requirements with the company's engineering, certification, and repair capabilities.
Marshall, a Harvard University graduate, brings experience in aviation business development, strategic account leadership, and growth execution. He said his focus will be on building long-term relationships and converting L2's technical depth into sustained, profitable growth.
