Global – October 21, 2026 -- KMS Lighthouse has set out an environmental policy that applies to all of its offices and employees and also binds suppliers, vendors, service providers, contractors and consultants. Company executives review the policy annually under a formal governance system.
Policy requires partners to comply with environmental laws and standards
The policy's external compliance clause says KMS Lighthouse expects its partners to operate responsibly and follow environmental laws and standards. The company also plans to develop sustainable procurement practices across its supply chain. Preferred purchases include recycled-content products, energy-efficient equipment, third-party-certified green cleaning products and water- or vegetable-based inks to reduce VOC emissions. The policy also commits the company to supporting local businesses in procurement.
Travel rules target fewer flights and more virtual meetings
KMS Lighthouse commits to scheduling and planning that reduce flight frequency, and encourages virtual meetings to minimize business travel. It also supports carpooling and group travel for business trips and prioritizes public transportation, including information on commuter benefits.
Energy measures include carbon-free electricity and LED lighting
On energy, the company commits to clean, carbon-free electricity sources and to replacing fluorescent lights with LEDs. It will also evaluate equipment for energy efficiency and carry out regular HVAC maintenance. Water conservation measures are to be applied especially in water-stressed regions.
Waste plan phases out single-use plastics and covers IT equipment
The waste provisions phase out single-use plastics in favor of reusable alternatives. IT equipment is to be reconditioned or disposed of sustainably, and the company will follow regulations for disposing of electrical items. Paper use is to be reduced, with recycled paper purchased and paper reused and recycled.
Executives review the policy annually and staff receive ESG training
KMS Lighthouse trains employees on ESG risks and opportunities and engages stakeholders to incorporate diverse perspectives. The policy will be amended as necessary after regular reviews.
