Hyderabad – September 10, 2026 -- Jassper Shipping has announced a growth capital programme of up to US$50 million to be deployed over the next three years, subject to market conditions and regulatory approvals, positioning India as the hub for its expansion into the Gulf, Southeast Asia, Africa, the Red Sea and the Far East.
Phase 1 commits $10 million to project logistics serving power and steel sectors
Under the first phase, Jassper Shipping intends to deploy US$10 million to its B2B project logistics business, targeting sectors it already serves: power, steel, petrochemicals, heavy engineering, manufacturing and large infrastructure.

McKinsey & Company estimates the global project logistics market will surpass US$400 billion by 2030, driven by infrastructure builds, energy transition spending and trade route restructuring. The World Economic Forum has noted that this restructuring is directing capital toward emerging-market corridors, with India, the Gulf and Southeast Asia identified as priority destinations.

India's major ports processed 915.17 million tonnes of cargo in FY 2025-26, a 7.06% year-on-year increase, according to the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways. Jassper Shipping said this growth mirrors trends across its own corridors, where rising industrial activity, energy projects and infrastructure builds are increasing demand for specialised cargo handling, port connectivity and inland transport.
"India is in the middle of a multi-year investment cycle across infrastructure and industry, and that is opening up real opportunities for specialised logistics players," said Pushpank Kaushik, CEO & Head of Business Development (Subcontinent, Middle East & Southeast Asia) at Jassper Shipping. He added that the $50 million programme is intended to build the scale and execution strength to participate in that cycle from India, radiating outward to the Gulf and other international corridors.
