Isla Porter Names Co-Founder Emily Arthur as CEO

New York – September 20, 2026 -- Isla Porter LLC's Board of Managers has appointed co-founder and Chief Creative Officer Emily Arthur as Chief Executive Officer, effective August 18, 2026.

Arthur takes CEO title while retaining creative leadership role

Arthur will continue as Chief Creative Officer while assuming CEO duties, consolidating oversight of the custom cabinetry company's product design, manufacturing operations and business strategy under one executive.

Board cites Arthur's cross-functional command of sales, design and manufacturing

Independent board member Nancy Tsuei said the appointment recognizes what Arthur built the company around: making customizable cabinetry directly accessible to homeowners and designers without traditional industry friction. Tsuei said Arthur's grasp of sales, design, manufacturing and customer demand made her the clear choice to lead the company forward.

Arthur brings nearly 20 years of home product design experience to the role

A Rhode Island School of Design industrial design graduate, Arthur previously held product design and development leadership roles at West Elm, a Williams-Sonoma, Inc. subsidiary, before co-founding Isla Porter.

Isla Porter has operated since 2023 with a curated cabinetry collection nationwide

Since its founding, the company has built a design process and product collection serving homeowners and design professionals across the United States, positioning custom cabinetry as combining premium craftsmanship with a streamlined process from planning through delivery.

New CEO to prioritize product expansion and customer experience

Arthur said her focus as CEO will be strengthening the business foundation, supporting the design team and partners, expanding the product offering, and improving the customer experience throughout the cabinetry process.
