Cincinnati – September 29, 2026 -- Beth and Phillip Dow, franchisees of Home Helpers Home Care in Newnan, Georgia, have been named 2026 Franchisee of the Year by the International Franchise Association, an honor they also received in 2015.
Newnan franchise projects $4.5 million in revenue for 2026
The Dows' operation, now in its 19th year, employs 150 caregivers and 14 operations staff serving 112 clients. The award was presented during the IFA26 Advocacy Summit in Washington, D.C., held Sept. 14-16, with a formal luncheon on Sept. 15.
Franchisees expand into Canton, Georgia market
Last month the Dows opened Home Helpers Home Care of Canton, Georgia, extending their footprint beyond the original Newnan territory ahead of their 20th anniversary with the brand next year.
Franchisee built internal shift-support system to close care gaps
Beth Dow established a dedicated shift support team to prevent service interruptions and has shared marketing materials, educational presentations and operating practices with other Home Helpers Home Care franchise owners across the network.
"Families depend on us during deeply personal moments, and that responsibility guides every decision we make," Beth Dow said, crediting the recognition to her caregiving and support staff.
Home Helpers CEO cites franchisee's compassion and network contributions
Home Helpers Home Care CEO and President Emma Dickison said the Dows combine business leadership with compassion for clients, families and caregivers, and have strengthened the broader franchise network through resource-sharing.
Beth Dow is a Certified Alzheimer's Educator and author of "My Loved One Has Dementia. Now What?" She writes a recurring newspaper column for seniors and families, and supports the Wounded Warrior Project and Tunnel to Towers Foundation through community outreach.
