Harmonic Launches cOS SensAI for $2.2B Broadband Intelligence Market

San Jose, Calif. – September 11, 2026 -- Harmonic (NASDAQ: HLIT) has launched cOS SensAI, a vendor-agnostic intelligence fabric designed to unify fragmented network data for broadband operators, targeting a market Analysys Mason values at approximately $2.2 billion per year among tier 2 and smaller service providers.

SensAI consolidates data from thousands of network sources into a single operational model

The platform builds a continuously updated real-time model of an operator's network devices and system relationships, correlating signals across systems to explain the reasoning behind each diagnosis. Harmonic says the tool is built to progressively automate the workflows operators repeat most frequently, reducing reliance on manual dashboard-switching during troubleshooting.

Hotwire Communications and GCI report faster issue resolution in live deployments

Pragash Pillai, Chief Technology Officer at Hotwire Communications, said correlating an operational insight typically requires pulling data from a dozen separate systems, tools and in-home devices, a process SensAI has compressed by providing traceable diagnostic reasoning that lets NOC and engineering teams resolve issues faster. Troy Goldie, Chief Technology Officer at GCI, which serves remote communities across Alaska, said the company expects SensAI to guide technicians directly to resolution steps, reducing time to task and lowering repeat ticket percentages -- a key indicator of overall network health.

Analysys Mason pegs the addressable market at $2.2 billion annually

Joseph Attwood, Senior Analyst at Analysys Mason, said broadband providers need a cohesive intelligence fabric like SensAI to ingest data from diverse sources, replace fragmented tools and achieve the end-to-end visibility required to correlate signals across devices and systems for improved network reliability.

Harmonic CEO frames the launch as a shift from reactive to proactive operations

Nimrod Ben-Natan, President and CEO of Harmonic, said the next chapter of broadband service success depends on operational intelligence that continuously improves subscriber experience while cutting costs, adding that SensAI was developed in collaboration with leading broadband service providers to give operators of any size faster response capabilities.

Harmonic will demonstrate SensAI at two industry events this month

The company will showcase the platform at Connected Britain on Sept. 9-10 at booth J25, followed by SCTE TechExpo in Atlanta from Sept. 29 to Oct. 1 at booth A153.
