GenScript, NVIDIA Launch AI Life Sciences Pitch Contest for JPM Week

Piscataway, N.J. – October 08, 2026 -- GenScript Biotech Corporation and NVIDIA have launched a global startup competition pairing wet lab validation with accelerated computing to push AI-driven drug discovery toward commercial proof points.

Up to six finalists will pitch before judges during JPM Week in January

The GenScript and NVIDIA Life Sciences Startup PitchFest opened applications today, with finalists confirmed in December. Up to six companies will be selected for a GenScript-hosted pitch event during JPM Week, competing before a panel of judges for a winning slot.

Winner receives GenScript wet lab data credits plus NVIDIA Brev credits

The top company will receive GenScript wet lab data credits alongside Brev credits from NVIDIA to fund continued development. The competition targets startups building AI-driven antibody and protein design tools, as well as technologies that accelerate the design-build-test-learn cycle in therapeutic discovery.

GenScript brings sequence-to-data validation, NVIDIA offers Inception ecosystem access

GenScript will contribute sequence-to-data capabilities and experimental validation expertise to participating startups. NVIDIA will provide access to NVIDIA Inception, its free program supporting startups building and scaling across its computing platform and partner ecosystem.

Ray Chen, President of GenScript Life Science Group, said building an ecosystem that connects world-class computation with scalable biological validation is necessary to convert computational predictions into therapeutic progress. He added that the program gives digital biology startups integrated support to test models, generate evidence, and accelerate breakthrough therapies.

Finalists gain access to GenScript's Biotech Global Forum for investor and partner introductions

Selected finalists will also be invited to GenScript's Biotech Global Forum, where they can engage directly with biotechnology executives, strategic partners, and industry leaders focused on AI-enabled discovery. Further details on judging criteria, speakers, and investor participation are expected in the coming weeks.
